We want you

The WoW program has been running in Hobart since 2008 and in Launceston since 2017.

The Wow program is tailored to the career opportunities in your area of the State. We will visit workplaces and see what it is really like to work on the water, what jobs exist and how to get them!

Students are expected to find their own way to the meet point each morning, at the University of Tasmania in either Hobart or Launceston. Details will be provided to successful applicants.

Those traveling need to arrange their own accommodation and transport. There is no cost to the student to participate in the program.

TSIC is the peak body representing the interests of the wild capture fishers, marine farmers and seafood processors in Tasmania. TSIC relies on a diverse range of industry stakeholders to provide the funding and in-kind support needed to run the program.
